We are pleased to offer the following warranty on qualifying repair services.

Warranty Coverage

North Point Garage Door Co. warrants that all replacement parts installed by us during a service visit, along with the labor required to install those parts, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original date of service.

If a covered replacement part fails during the warranty period due to a defect in the part or our workmanship, we will, at our option:

• Repair the defective part, or

Replace the defective part with a new or equivalent part, at no charge for both the replacement part and the labor required to perform the warranty repair.

Covered Items

This warranty applies only to replacement parts supplied and installed by North Point Garage Door Co. during a paid service visit.

Examples may include:

Torsion or extension springs
Rollers
Bearings
Hinges
Cables
Drums
Bottom brackets (where applicable)
Garage door opener components installed by us
Other replacement hardware specifically listed on your invoice

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Existing garage door components that were not replaced by North Point Garage Door Co.

Garage doors, sections, tracks, hardware, or openers that were not supplied or replaced by us.

Cosmetic issues such as scratches, dents, fading, rust, or discoloration.
Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, neglect, vandalism, or attempted repairs by anyone other than North Point Garage Door Co.
Damage caused by fire, flooding, storms, earthquakes, power surges, lightning, or other acts of nature.
Damage resulting from vehicle impacts or other external forces.
Improper maintenance or failure to maintain the garage door system.
Normal wear and tear on components not replaced during the original service.
Adjustments made necessary by structural settling, building movement, or changes to the garage door system after our service.
Commercial, industrial, or high-cycle applications unless specifically stated in writing.
Service calls where no warrantable defect is found.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of covered parts and associated labor. North Point Garage Door Co. is not responsible for:

Loss of use of the garage door.
Damage to vehicles, personal property, or other structures.
Lost profits, lost income, inconvenience, or any incidental or consequential damages to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original customer at the original installation address and is not transferable unless otherwise approved in writing by North Point Garage Door Co.

Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, the customer must:

Contact North Point Garage Door Co. during normal business hours.
Provide the original invoice or proof of service. Allow North Point Garage Door Co. a reasonable opportunity to inspect the reported issue before repairs are performed by another company.
Repairs performed by any person or company other than North Point Garage Door Co. without our prior written authorization will void this warranty for the affected component.

Manufacturer Warranties

Some products installed by North Point Garage Door Co. may also carry separate manufacturer warranties. Those warranties are provided by the manufacturer and are separate from this warranty.

If a manufacturer's warranty provides greater coverage, the manufacturer is responsible for those obligations.

Your Legal Rights

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary under applicable law. 2
